Off for a salmon bake. Rents are somewhat suspicious. They fear the fish may taste fishy. Will see. They heard the potatoes are good, though.

Went to a ‘Days of ’98’ play about local hero/fiend Soapy Smith on Broadway in Skagway. Frolicking, jokes, music, poems, saloon skits, white hat guy, black hat guy, shots fired, popcorn, air conditioning, bad puns. What a neat little theater.
Locals here in Skagway say that this is the warmest day so far this year. Many shorts and T-shirts around town. Even the bugs seem energized. It’s 66 deg at 2pm. From the panorama below, the Island Princess is the furtherest ship out.
Over 3,000 horses perished during the Klondike Gold Rush. This sculpture is in behalf of the many horses that were lost.
Morning in Skagway on a beautiful and sunny morning. Three cruise ships are in right now so I guess we won’t be alone when we go to town later.
